At varying levels, the IMP integrates with new and existing systems of collaboration platform and message store partners. Ranging from user directory integration to enabled end-to-end services, the Bizanga IMP and partner platforms require minimal configuration to work with each other.
Zimbra
Zimbra Collaboration Suite (ZCS) 4.5 is a modern, innovative messaging and collaboration application. Zimbra is a leading open source solution for enterprise, service provider, academic and government environments.
Ajax-based collaboration is the heart of ZCS 4.5. The powerful Web client integrates E-mail, contacts, shared calendar, VoIP, as well as online document authoring and sharing. Zimbra's unique Zimlet technology makes it easy to include custom 'mash-ups' in ZCS.
ZCS 4.5 also features an Ajax Admin Interface with full scripting tools, and support for standards-based APIs (IMAP / POP / iCal), seamlessly compatible with Microsoft Outlook and Apple.
In an integrated deployment, the IMP deploys as the edge MTA within ZCS, delivering inbound E-mail traffic to the ZCS message store and outbound traffic to the Internet. The full integration between the IMP and ZCS provides a scalable solution and a simple service rollout. The integration also allows custom individualized features to be available on the edge through the IMP Workflow Policy Processor along with the centralized provisioning of ZCS.
