The technologies from encryption and compliance partners are available as embedded options on the IMP giving our customers the ability to offer multiple choices of these services for their E-mail and message streams.
PostX
PostX SecureEmail is a trusted E-mail platform for encrypting ad hoc emails internal and external to operators' and their customers' networks. As a compliance and enterprise solution, SecureEmail provides an operator's customer with the option of deploying a policy enforcement and encryption solution at the gateway or combining at the gateway and on the desktop.
Customers can license PostX SecureEmail with full support for secure delivery including PostX Envelope, PostX WebSafe, S/MIME and OpenPGP - customers may also license it with support for a single delivery method.
In conjunction with the IMP's Workflow Policy Processory, PostX SecureEmail is a rules-based SMTP gateway that can process and encrypt email based on any component of the message. The component could be the subject, message source and destination, other email headers or email attachments. Messages are secured "in path" after other message processing occurs at the company or operator level, providing centralized management of user security credentials such as passwords and certificates.
Customers can deploy PostX SecureEmail in combination with PostX DesktopFlag, a lightweight desktop client that lets senders flag outgoing messages for encryption regardless of the rules established in the IMP and PostX Policy Engine. PostX DesktopFlag appears as a "Send Secure" button in the sender's email client. The service supports Outlook, Lotus Notes and GroupWise E-mail clients.
